That '90s Comic part 16

That ’90s Comic – 16

In this episode of That '90s Comic:

The dog might be possessed, but he doesn’t seem to know much about the devil. Seth, on the other hand, knows a fuckload. Hmm… maybe he is satanic. I should probably tell our Sunday School teacher.

As expected, the teacher freaks out over nothing—because that’s what teachers do. I don’t know why our school is so weird about the devil. G and I get called bad just for asking questions about the Bible. G doesn’t believe in the Bible at all, and the teachers call him satanic… but he doesn’t believe in Satan either, so calling him satanic is kinda retarded. All he does is ask questions, and suddenly he’s bad? Hopefully, this ridiculous cult-like thinking doesn’t continue into, say… around 2020. (Foreshadowing?)

Bonus Info:

Seth is not G. Seth was never born.

All the characters in this comic are based on real people—I can’t wait to see my character—but Seth? Seth doesn’t exist. The dad is based on G’s dad, the teachers and school kids are all kids from our school. Seth, though, has two brothers—Jason and another brother we haven’t mentioned yet.

Jason is based on G’s real brother. The other brother? That’s G.

See, before G was born, his mom was pregnant with another kid. She got bitten by a dog (not the Tamagotchi dog), went into early labor, and unfortunately, Seth didn’t survive. Two years later, G was born. If Seth had survived, G wouldn’t exist—so it’s sad, but also… not?

This comic follows an alternate timeline where Seth does survive. In this version, G is still born, and his parents still divorce. Seth lives with Dad, while G and Jason go with Mom. Real life G only lived with his dad up till the age of 4, but always wondered how life would've turned out had he been forced to stay with Dad. Seth allows us to see what may have happened.

This comic gets a 52/69.
